Capturing the Spirit of a Community Leader

For her re-election campaign, New York City Councilwoman Carlina Rivera needed a cohesive graphic identity that reflected her inspiring approach to keynote issues and deep connection to the district she grew up in. I crafted a custom logo, and created brand guidelines that included a color palette and signature typeface that the campaign team could apply to a variety of marketing materials. The logo is highly flexible, allowing for a variety of text configurations and color ways.

— The logo incorporates the two official colors of New York City—orange and blue.

— On social media announcements, the logo signifies a stamp of approval. The typeface is also used throughout campaign graphics.

— Carlina’s team continues to use the logo and update it for new campaigns, including her run for congress in 2022, and her 2023 re-election campaign for City Council.
